The finalists for the Sustainable Leadership Award 2018 in Sweden were presented today. The coffee roaster Löfbergs’s CEO Lars Appelqvist is one of three final candidates. The award rewards a person that through competent leadership has contributed to successful sustainability work in its organization and/or society in general. Lars was also a finalist in 2013 and 2015.

Good coffee cannot be taken for granted as fewer and fewer young people see a future as coffee farmers. Löfbergs wants to change that. The family-owned coffee roaster presents a new coffee with beans from Ana-Maria and other young farmers in Antioquia in north-western Colombia, combined with carefully selected Arabica beans from Brazil.

In Canada, Löfbergs will launch three varieties of Swedish Fika: Medium Roast, Organic and Dark Roast.
