Löfbergs's capsules increase the most in Sweden

The market for coffee capsules is substantially growing in Sweden. And Löfbergs is growing most of all. According to numbers from Nielsen Company, Löfbergs has more than doubled its sales since the turn of the year

For the period from January to April, Löfbergs increased its capsule sales with 123 percent in the retail trade. The market as a whole increased with 64 percent.

- It is great that we get confirmation that our products are in demand. We will further increase our market share - partly by increasing the number of sales outlets, partly through new products and a wider selection of certified capsules, says Leif Sjöblom, marketing manager at Löfbergs.

Simple, quick and delicious
The latest additions to Löfbergs’s family of capsules are the ground coffee capsules Kharisma and Jubileum that are certified by the Rainforest Alliance. In Löfbergs's assortment, there are another three ground coffee capsules, four espressos and three kinds of hot chocolate from Cloetta as well as three flavours of tea from Kobbs.

- With capsule coffee, you can easily and quickly make a really delicious cup of fine-grind coffee or a perfect espresso without any spillage. The capsule keeps the ground coffee as rich in flavour as freshly ground beans. That is what more and more people discover, says Leif Sjöblom.
