Löfbergs in new European collaboration

As the first Swedish-based coffee roaster,Löfbergs Group joins the European Coffee Federation (ECF), an industry organisation with focus on food safety, sustainability and international trade.

- Through ECF, we have the opportunity for direct knowledge acquisition, exchange and the ability to influence at European level. It is an important forum for us in our ambition to be a leading player in terms of fair, sustainable production and trade, says Kathrine Löfberg, chair of the board at Löfbergs.

- This forum gives us an even bigger impact in the coffee industry. It is highly complementary to our other engagements in the producing countries as well as in our local markets, says Anders Fredriksson, CEO at Löfbergs.

The ECF consists of 16 national associations, 37 member companies from across Europe, and represents more than 700 companies – ranging from SMEs to international operating companies, which account for about 35% of the world's coffee trade volume.
