The food truck with coffee is on the road again

Last year, they served 75.000 cups of coffee all over Sweden. This year, Löfbergs Lila is trying something new when it is time to hit the road again with its café on wheels: the food truck Lila Hy. On the company's Facebook page, all of you who are longing for coffee can wish for a visit from Löfbergs Lila.

Stockholm, Gothenburg, Västerås, Kristinehamn, Malmö, Gotland and some places along the east and west coast; everyone is getting a visit from Lila Hy. Except for a few planned stops, you will also be able to make a wish for a visit via social media.

- If we are in the neighbourhood, there is a big chance that we will swing by your golden wedding anniversary, your 40th birthday party, a graduation party, an association meeting or a veteran car meeting. The entire tour with our café on wheels, Lila Hy, can be followed on Facebook, says Leif Sjöblom, marketing manager at Löfbergs Lila.

A food truck is a vehicle with a built-in kitchen or café from where you can serve food or drinks directly to passers-by. Löfbergs Lila's food truck is called Lila Hy and is a renovated old Citroën from the 1960's. It is a wink to the history of Löfbergs Lila, which started for more than 100 years ago with importing cars from Citroën among other things.

- For us, it is a perfect way to meet people when they are longing for coffee. But also for trying new ideas and strengthen the relation to both new and loyal customers, says Leif Sjöblom.
