Speciality coffee in a new format

It will be even easier for cafés and restaurants to serve really good coffee. Löfbergs is launching two of its most popular speciality coffees as capsules this autumn - a filter coffee and an espresso.

- The interest in taste and quality is increasing, at the same as new forms of making coffee are gaining ground. It is great to be able to offer speciality coffee of high quality as capsules too, says Anna Nordström, speciality coffee manager at Löfbergs.

Organic and Fairtrade labelled favourites

Speciality coffee is a term that is used for coffee with extra high quality. Löfbergs's speciality coffee is made of handpicked Arabica beans and is sold as whole beans to cafés and restaurants. Löfbergs is now launching two speciality coffees as capsules as well: Mountain High and Cumbia.

- Two of my absolute favourites! Mountain High is a filter coffee full of flavour with a lingering aftertaste. Cumbia is a full-bodied espresso with sweet notes of raisins and nuances of almonds and liquorice, says Anna Nordström.

Both Mountain High and Cumbia are organic and Fairtrade labelled.

Easy to raise the level

Capsule machines are getting more popular in Sweden, both in people's homes and in cafés and restaurants. More people discover that you do not have to be a full-fledged barista to make a perfect cup of fine-grind coffee or espresso. Just press the button and get the same great taste every time.

- Speciality coffee as capsules is an easy way for many cafés and restaurants to raise its level. The great taste is of course the most important aspect, but the capsule systems have other benefits too, for example the fact that you do not have to make major investments in machines or training to get started, says Anna Nordström.

Löfbergs has capsules for espresso, lungo and fine-grind coffee, which are suitable with capsule machines designed for the Caffitaly System.
