Löfbergs widens its capsule assortment

The sales of coffee capsules continue to increase in Sweden. The coffee roaster Löfbergs is now widening its assortment with a number of new tasty capsules for filter coffee and espresso.

- We are offering all coffee enthusiasts even more flavours to choose from. The design will also be more uniform to make it easier for the consumer to find its favourite, says Kent Pettersson, sales and marketing director at Löfbergs.

Among the new capsules, you can find best sellers like EKO Dark Roast and Crescendo, which a lot of people recognize from the coffee shelves, as they already exist as filter coffee. This means that Löfbergs's assortment of capsules for filter coffee now ranges from medium roast to extra dark roast.

When it comes to espresso, Löfbergs is introducing four new tasty capsules: Organic, Delicious, Italian and Intense.

Coffee from certified farms
Löfbergs's entire assortment of coffee capsules is labelled and contains coffee from certified farms. This is part of Löfbergs's vision to be the most sustainable coffee group in Europe.

- We are working with organic labels, Fairtrade and Rainforest Alliance that all contribute to a more sustainable development. It stands to reason to live up to the demands from todat's consumers, says Kent Pettersson.

In stores and online
All capsules from Löfbergs are suitable with the Caffitaly System, which is one of the world's biggest capsule concepts. The capsules are free from aluminium and can be purchased in grocery stores, white goods stores and different web shops.

- We have gotten great response and all the major food chains will sell all or great parts of our assortment, says Kent Pettersson.
