Press release -
Löfbergs opens a new coffee Mecca in Stockholm
The coffee roaster Löfbergs is opening the doors to its new flagship at Kungsgatan 3 in Stockholm today - a familiar meeting place, where the coffee experience is the main focus.
- We will share our passion for and knowledge about the wonderful world of coffee. It is all about the craft, the flavours and the exciting origins, but we will also offer coffee cupping, training and a number of other activities, says Leif Sjöblom, Marketing Manager at Löfbergs.
A familiar meeting place
The coffee roaster Löfbergs was founded in 1906 and is one of the largest family-owned roasters in the Nordic countries. Löfbergs Stockholm is the company's first café outside its hometown of Karlstad. The fine old traditions of coffee history can be experienced in several ways.
- We have paid great attention to creating a familiar feeling, and the café is decorated with coffee paraphernalia from our hundred-year history. We have also installed a micro roast that will spread a delightful scent and make the place even more homely, says Leif Sjöblom.
- We hope and believe that Löfbergs Stockholm will be a natural place of meeting for everyone that likes and want to learn more about coffee.
Unique house coffee
Löfbergs buys all coffee straight from the producing countries and travels about 150 days per year to find the very best coffee beans. Löfbergs Stockholm will offer a number of different speciality coffees that you can try at the café or take with you home, for example a unique house coffee that only will be served at Löfbergs's cafés in Stockholm and Karlstad.
The house coffee is called Trêz Faizendeiros and is a sweet, full-bodied coffee with nutty characteristics. The coffee comes from the Brazilian Fairtrade cooperative COOPASV in southwest Brazil. The coffee is developed through an annual quality competition, which is arranged by the cooperative and Löfbergs.
