Löfbergs invited to summit on food

Bill Clinton is the keynote speaker when the summit EAT - Stockholm Food Forum is arranged for the first time. The meeting gathers 650 scientists, policy-makers and business professionals from all over the world to discuss the way to a healthy and sustainable food industry. The initiator Gunhild A. Stordalen welcomes the Swedish coffee roaster Löfbergs as a partner.

- Löfbergs is a forerunner in sustainability, and we are so happy for the company’s participation and commitment, says Gunhild Stordalen, physician and chair of the Stordalen Foundation.

Global guidelines
EAT - Stockholm Food Forum was initiated by the Stordalen Foundation and is organized in cooperation with the Stockholm Resilience Centre. The conference will take place in Stockholm on May 26-27 and is meant to be an annual summit. The goal is to establish globally acceptable and nationally practicable guidelines for healthy, climate friendly and sustainable food.

- EAT is a welcome initiative that addresses a global key issue: how to create a more sustainable and healthy view of food and drink. When we were asked to participate, it was a matter of course for us, says Lars Appelqvist, CEO at Löfbergs.

More than a summit In addition to the summit, EAT will also organize several other events and seminars around the world, for example in London, Boston, New York and Davos. It has already been decided that Löfbergs will be a part of EAT's activities in Almedalen this summer.
