Press release -
Löfbergs at a new Finnish arena
Finland is an important market for Löfbergs. In the past year, the Swedish coffee roaster has increased its sales strongly in the country where the biggest coffee drinkers live. Cooperation with the ice hockey team Lahti Pelicans and Isku Areena will further strengthen the brand.
- We are growing, but we are still a relatively small player in Finland. We have decided to give the bigger operators a match. It is a question of being seen to increase the awareness of us as well as our good coffee, says Leif Sjöblom, marketing manager at Löfbergs.
The cooperation with Lahti Pelicans, which plays in the Finnish Elite League, and Isku Areena involves forcible exposure in the arena that accommodates about 5,000 spectators. The visitors will naturally be served coffee from Löfbergs from now on.
Available at more arenas
Appearing at large Finnish arenas is nothing new for Löfbergs. About a year ago, Löfbergs became the official coffee partner to the national arena Hartwall Areena in Helsinki with 1 million visitors per year. As recently as a month ago, it was decided that coffee from Löfbergs would be served at Finland's national theatre: Helsinki City Theatre.
- The idea is that it will lead to even more consumers, restaurants and shops being familiar with our good and powerful coffee, says Leif Sjöblom.
