Press release -

Löfbergs’ Anna Nordström is Sweden's first Sensory Professional in coffee

Anna Nordström, specialty coffee manager at Löfbergs, is now the first trainer in Sweden in coffee sensory as she recently was authorized as Sensory Professional by the Speciality Coffee Association of Europe (SCAE).

- It is certainly a feather in my cap and something that carries a lot of weight within the world of specialty coffee, but the most important is that we at Löfbergs now have an even deeper knowledge about flavors. It will strengthen us internally and make it possible for us to further develop our training offer. To be the only coffee business in Sweden that offers training in sensory skills is of course valuable and important, says Anna Nordström.

Conscious investments in taste

Anna Nordström has worked at Löfbergs for 18 years and she already has a solid list of qualifications. Before being honored as Sensory Professional, Anna was one of three Swedish SCAE trainers in brewing, a comprehensive theoretic and practical training to brew the perfect cup of coffee. She has been a member of the Swedish National Barista Team. Anna also won gold in the Swedish championship in cupping and the bronze medal in the World Cup Tasters Championship.

- Having this unique competence in our company is of course incredibly important for us. Our most significant mission is to offer our customers the very best taste no matter where you drink Löfbergs' products. With Anna's deep and unique competence in the field, we clearly have an advantage over our competitors. It is something that we benefit from every day, says Lars Appelqvist, CEO at Löfbergs.
