Increased variety at the bottom of the new coffee flavour from Löfbergs Lila

New taste preferences give new kinds of coffee. In February, Löfbergs Lila is launching a new blend to meet the increased demand on coffee with Southern European characteristics: Continental Blend.

- With Continental Blend, we are expanding our assortment for restaurants, cafés and offices with completely new taste characteristics. It is a result of the widening of our customer base. As the variety increases in Sweden and as many are experiencing tastes abroad, new flavours are demanded at home, says Leif Sjöblom, marketing manager at Löfbergs Lila.

Continental Blend is a powerful and full-bodied coffee with low acidity and an after taste of cacao. The new coffee is a blend of beans from farms in South and Central America, South East Asia and East Africa.

Continental Blend can be bought as whole beans and ground coffee, and is delivered in packaging sizes adjusted for different customer segments (100, 500 and 1.000 grams). The coffee is Rainforest Alliance certified, which is a part of the sustainability work of Löfbergs Lila where the goal is to make sure that all coffee that the company sells will be certified by 2015.
