Increased market share and better packaging

The segment of whole beans is steadily growing on the Swedish market. At the same time, Löfbergs Lila wins market shares. The family-owned coffee-roaster is now investing in a completely new packaging line that ensures the security of supply. In the midst of it all, the company is improving its packaging in a number of respects.

- Naturally, it feels great that more people appreciate our whole beans. We have a good dialogue with our customers that give us many great suggestions on how our packaging can be even better. It makes us as well as our products develop, says Per Grahn, sales director for the business segment Out of Home at Löfbergs Lila.

Among other things, Löfbergs Lila will start delivering whole beans in one-kilo bags. This means that the number of lifts in order to fill up the coffee machines will decrease and the transportation will be more environmentally friendly since the amount of air that is transported will be reduced. All packages will also have handles, which makes them easier to carry in the right way. A new feature is that all bags will have slits and will therefore be easier to open.

Today, Löfbergs Lila has one of the broadest assortments of whole beans on the market with a number of different packaging sizes, taste characteristics and certifications.
