Press release -

He will be the acting CEO of Löfbergs

Fredrik Nilsson, 46, has been appointed acting CEO of Löfbergs group. Fredrik is currently working as CFO at the family-owned coffee roaster, a position he will keep. The appointment as acting CEO applies as from 1 November.

- A natural solution that brings a peace of mind to the operation when recruiting a new CEO, says Kathrine Löfberg, chair of the board at Löfbergs.

Fredrik Nilsson has been the CFO of Löfbergs since the summer of 2018 and an important part of the executive management from the very beginning. He has previous experience as financial manager, both nationally and internationally.

Recruitment in progress
Lars Appelqvist announced in July that he is moving onto another job after 22 years at Löfbergs, of which 12 years as CEO. Löfbergs is now looking for a new CEO, and until the recruitment process is done, Fredrik Nilsson will be acting CEO.

- The recruitment process has begun, but we will have great patience. It will take the time it takes. The important thing is that we find the right person for us and our business. It is a matter of experience and competence of course, but also about finding a person that shares our values and likes and understands the possibilities of being a family business that wants to continue to develop, says Kathrine Löfberg.
